Just going to save us all some time. Re-read my comment about psyops and propaganda. And if you're gonna come at me with any variation of "You're an idiot because my propaganda says..." Well, I'm glad you felt like chipping in, and I'll note your reply, but please dont expect me to have anything to say about it.

You saying "wah wah it's all just psyops and propaganda" does not, in fact, mean that actual facts are psyops and propaganda. It just means you are way too deep in your OWN psyops, propaganda and conspiracy theories to still be able to reach reality. I feel kind of sorry for you, really, because you sound just like any other Trumplesheep by now.

No. No what I'm saying is that you should stop trying to make it seem like actual proven facts are just "preferred propaganda" because you don't like it. 1. I kinda dig the timecapsule, It's not totally unfun ALL the time, and its good for the soul to occasionally interact with people who hate you and relish in showing it. Not too often. And in the theme of challenging the propaganda you've absorbed you simply CANT do that in echo chamber, so its good for me, and maybe in a small way good for you too.

2. This place isn't quite as homogenous as it appears. To keep the 2003 theme going "The lurkers support me in email".

3. Theres always the slight possibility it'd help someone. There is a very public perception on this community that is... Well, frankly it can be a little brainwashy, in a "If you openly disagree with the majority we will fucking struggle-session you!" People might genuinely benefit from a little challenge.

All of that makes up about 7% of your answer. The biggie, the 93% was in the first commemt: I really genuinely sincerely wanted to know. There is literally no other community on the internet as dogmatic as fandom secrets (excluding specific fandom spaces, and I am not joining the Rick and Morty or Steven Universe ppl.) and I honestly wanted to know how people who spend their time in such a dogmatic place felt about the awareness that EVERYONE wants to use the internet to control the public to their own side deals with that little cognitive dissonance. As I say, I go with cinical grade paranoia and doubting everything, bit that wont fly alongside dogma.

It really seems like the answer is overwhelmingly "Denial, No U, and hostility". Although I grant that the hostility may be more of a me thing.

You still have to give any proof that eny of what you claim is even true though. You haven't. Because you can't. The writings on the wall about a lot of the things Trump is and has been doing and all you have in reply to that is "it's just all propganada and psyops" instead of, you know, giving and proof that it actually is.
