Were you asking for prompts?? Because random demands vs prompting are very different things.

Also, this seems to imply you're in the context of a friendship, and you're the one who seems the douche in this case.

Even in prompts is bad form (and completely unnecessary) to insult the writer's OTP -- especially since they are offering to do something for you free of charge. And even among friends it's not douchey to be offended by someone's behavior when they are, in fact, being offensive.

Because the fact that you don't consider yourself friends anymore gives you some sort of pass? Maybe she's a bitch/rude for not sharing your OTP-- but she obviously could get over it to be friends, and you couldn't handle someone who, thinking you're friends, asks you for a fic?

Yeah. No. YOU made a secret bitching about her-- you're the one who seems bothered by the contact, but hasn't done anything about it. You are the one who turned to fandom secrets wanting sympathy, just because someone likes your writing enough to want to see you do something they actually like-- which implies she's reading your stuff /even though she doesn't like the pairing/?

I have conversations like that all the time. If a person is the type to have that sort of friendship-- and THINKS they're in that type of friendship? That's communication problems largely on the part of the other person, because they're the only one who knows there is a problem.

And really, this isn't a matter of being polite. If she's being this pissed off, and the other person is oblivious, and the OP /doesn't consider them friends anymore/? Then it's only a disservice to their once friendship (supposed friendship?) to not come clean about what's going on.
