I don't know what the original comment was exactly, but so what if it's child porn? Seriously, people have all sorts of fetishes. I write porn in which people die, and sometimes I draw it too. Difference is that I wouldn't want to ENACT it, and if I was consuming porn with ACTUAL children or dead people in it, that would be DISGUSTINGLY VILE, because it would be NON-CONSENSUAL.

Cartoon - no one's consent is being violated. Call my focus/obsession on consent as the only real moral determinant, to be a legacy of my participation in the BDSM community.

Whether the porn would encourage people to violate a REAL person's consent, is another kettle of fish, and I understand that some people are concerned that cartoon child porn could encourage that. However, I don't think the answer is to erase its existence, even in private communities and in the bottom of someone's drawer, because that's mind control. I do think people have a right NOT to be exposed to it without consent/warning. I think that most porn does NOT encourage people, actually, although it can create norms if the porn itself is seen in the wrong context. Creating dialogue around consent seems to be the most sensible approach, and I count mainstream porn and its role in rape culture as part of that.

So what if it's child porn? Really? Do you even feel the cognitive dissonance anymore, or did you strangle that off years ago? Swear to god, the whole "acceptance of everything" culture in fandom is exactly why the communities go to shit so rapidly and the smut is goddamn creepy to outsiders.

Maybe stop defending and perpetuating kiddie porn. Snuff too, while you're at it. The concept of a crying child being violated or a terrified person being murdered shouldn't arouse you, drawn or not.

I'm not actually into smut in fandom, kthx, only in my real life sexuality and fantasies. So don't blame my perverted evilness on fandom.

I'm sorry if you have a problem with my (rather hardwired) sexuality, or that of others. Obviously we have different morals. Mine is first and foremost to "do no harm".
