Modern AU of fantasy. But there’s a Jaime/Brienne modern AU college fic that I can’t remember why I even read it in the first place and it’s probably my favorite fic in that entire fandom. Brienne is a swimmer who is hired to keep Jaime, a star football player, out of trouble. Part of the deal is that she has to be his roommate. It’s very well done and just hits all the right notes for me.
