Small fandom vents

that are not enough for a secret or something.

I'll start.
Right now I am in a small heavily RPF fandom. Maybe because it's small, it's been quite lovely. Fans are never nasty towards spouses, actually spouses are generally liked by fandom. People respect privacy, there is no debates about sexuality etc. So I like being here.
But damn I wish there were better writers in this fandom. There is only one decent smut writer and I am not into most of their kinks.

Oof I've been there thread OP. Nice community but lack of good fics is a difficult spot to be in. Don't want to be ungrateful but at the same time, no good fics to read isn't a very fun time.

Yeah! Small fandoms are always mixed bag like that. If you have just one good writer you are set, but if you are not...
Also in my recent fandom writers seem to be quite young or just dramatic. And it's frustrating experience. The most popular fic features adult men in their 30s cutting their hands like every 4 chapters 🙄 I just can't.
