She doesn't come right out and say it, but there are lesbian-coded characters in some stories and they're usually a little sus (or worse, such as in the novel Nemesis).

I dunno, I really don't. I'm not sure life long protestant who was born in the Victorian era was trying to sneak gay characters into her books. I'm not saying you're definitely wrong, I just don't buy it myself.
