There's partners for every taste. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes in what they want to write, as well as styles, so it's a matter of finding the ways in which you can two mesh. Just as well, either finding new partners for that sort of stuff, or even writing on your own.

From Red vs. Blue, the Chorus Arc, which felt like the legit series finale, as it went it concluded the development of the characters.

The Sim Troopers begin the series as the utter rejects of the UNSC, under the shadow of the Master Chief, the hero of the Great War. They spent five years bickering in the middle of nowhere... until they realize the truth of their plight, and have to face the Meta, to then bring the fight against the jerk who put them all into that situation in the first place.

Come the Chorus Arc, they are heroes running on impostor syndrome, but still try their damnest to save people, even as it turns dark and have to fight their own flaws. They find people just as flawed as they are, that they still swear to help. And in turn, the series ends with the Sim Troopers ready to face their end with dignity.

Grif's character development is the one that low-key fascinates me the most. Began as a lazy bum due to being in a useless canyon with a crazed sergeant, turned cowardly upon being thrust into danger, gained pride after fighting and defeating the Meta, boasted about his victory and chose to use that reputation, and ultimately faced his team's last stand with dignity and pride.

Season 3 of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. is my favorite, despite my favorite episode being from season 4.

Season 2 of Charmed is probably my favorite, despite my favorite episode being from season 3.

Season 1 of Psych is the best imo.

Did you discuss it with your partner? I know everyone is different with money in a relationship but usually ime big purchases are at least discussed. Especially so if there are budget problems. Idk know the details but the "having budget problems" plus "idc I blew my money on fun" is a bit of a red flag to me. But I also had a partner that was like this and we ended up seperating because (among other things) they constantly did things like this when we had talked about saving (for a house and future together), so I might just be projecting.

The final season of White Collar. I love that they had minimal time and knew they needed a story to wrap things up so it ended up feeling like such a good tight paced story. Plus none of the dumb romance subplots were jammed in. They were just the worst on that show and the lack made the season so much more enjoyable.
