If it is someone you are friends with amd panic attacks are a known issue, I would try amd discuss it with them amd ask what they want you to do or what would be helpful in that situation.

Otherwise, keep talking kindly and try and get them to focus on your voice and try and coach them through breathing and grounding techniques. Grounding techniques still work for them, you just have to help remind them. The whole "tell me three things you can see/feel/smell/etc".
