Re: Animal rescues have lost their mind!

Our local shelter (not rescue!) is overcrowded with sweet dogs of varying sizes and breeds and ages. The shelter staff and volunteers are practically begging for responsible people to adopt, and they run regular events where they discount the adoption fee to $50. I wouldn't bother with a rescue unless I wanted a specific breed and didn't want to wait.
