Re: What's your favorite kind of vacation?

I love going to tourist spots as well, though I might go super early to avoid the crowds, and I don’t understand the IG reels that I sometimes get with people saying not to visit X because it’s crowded and to visit Y instead. If I wanna visit the Sagrada Familia or Fushimi Inari, I’m not going to be satisfied with something similar, I wanna see the actual thing.

I’m the sort of person that likes to cram in as much as possible during vacations though and I only go back to the hotel to sleep. My friends are all the opposite of me, so I usually travel alone. I do get lost a lot though, so I tend to see the “real city” without actually meaning to.

DA

I don't make a lot of concrete plans when I travel because I get lost easily, even with a Map app.

But I learned to manage some stress and anxiety from getting lost in a big city! I can enjoy getting lost.

Once I spent a week in Midtown NYC and by Day 6 I was finally starting to understand the streets.
I was proud but sad that I couldn't stay longer XD
