Re: What's your favorite kind of vacation?

It really depends where I am. In the states I tend to just stick to the tourist spots because the “real” city has all the same stuff as every city and most towns. But in Europe I do a mix of touristy and “real” city touring. I love museums and castles and I also love local restaurants.

But I haven’t been on that kind of vacation since early 2019.

My post pandemic vacations have all been outdoor adventures. My favorite of those so far was canoeing in the Boundary Waters. Runner up is the week I spent in a log cabin with just my dogs and some books.
