The only thing like that I've seen (so far) is a vague tendency to maaaybe overreact to Americanisms in fic. ;) I've been obsessively checking over my own stuff to make sure that nothing slips through, but that's not unusual for me. OCD fangirl FTW.

I'm sorry that your experience sucked. Come back and play sometime? I know it's easy in such a small group to have one person sour the whole experience.

You're obviously a stand up person and I hope it stays good for you. I figure you stay out of discussion.

I'm not the only person she's driven out. She twists what people say, is manipulative, critical and phony as all get out. She drove people away at yahoo and now on livejournal. It is a small group and she's a mod so she and her phony *g*s and *hee*s laden vicious comments can't be avoided.

Oh, bugger. I know who you're talking about now--I'm watching an argument unfold like a very civil trainwreck in one post right now. *sigh* Every fandom has its wank, I guess. Fortunately Pros also has a bunch of fabulous writers and really hot smut. This is what I shall keep telling myself, lest I poke my head into an argument where it doesn't belong. :)

I had the same experience and got the hell out of Dodge. You don't even have to get in to a discussion with her she'll just show up out of nowhere to ride your ass.

I've been in fandom since the zine days and she's the most unpleasant fan I've ever ran across. I have nothing to do with the livejournal fandom as a result I just read at the archives.
