Pirate Island stood out to me because it was the first time I saw the culprits NOT being a fraud. It was super special to me for that reason (not counting the Hanna-Barbera Superstars films, since those felt like funny little stand-alones divorced from scooby-doo canon). Anytime else the perpetrator turns out to be a real supernatural phenomenon, it just feels weird.
