Dental work also plays a huge part - so many actors now have super straight teeth + veneers and it just screams "this century".

I do wish they would yellow-up actors’ teeth more often. I get that dentures with crooked/cracked/missing teeth are probably a pain to make and act with. But surely just a bit of specialized makeup could get rid of that distractingly white shade.
