Honestly, I think kinkmemes disappearing has helped along this horrible purity culture we're seeing in fandom lately. I want them back if only to push out these pro-censorship assholes. Getting some good porn is a lovely side effect.

This. While kink memes do occasionally crop up on AO3, they really are just not the same: like, they're not 100% anonymous for starters, and they only run for a set period of time, and they definitely don't get AS much publicity as the kink memes of yesteryear used'a get.

It's amazing to me that the Phoenix Wright Kink Meme (on DW) is still around, still running more or less the exact same way it always has. I wonder why other kink memes haven't been so lucky?
