A long time ago, my mood was ruined for a week because of a SVU episode.
Two 13yo boys were charged with murder. The actual killer got a light sentence due to taking a plea bargain. The boy who didn't commit the murder but handed the killer the knife was sentenced to like 25 years in prison because his mom wouldn't take the plea bargain. She believed that the jury would find her son not guilty.

I hated the unsatisfactory endings in SVU eps when I still watched the show.
