ayrt - Lol I blame all my reading badfic on my untreated adhd as well. It's that damn hyperfocus mixed with lack of self control. And unending curiosity. I know the fic is bad, but my curiosity and general obsession with the characters keeps me reading every time.

Tbh I have gotten better about it, but I have definitely read way too many bad fic I should have back buttoned out of.

i wish people would stop calling it badfic when it's actually fic you don't like. it's not necessarily bad, just not to your taste.

ayrt - the fic I am referring to is bad. Not just not my taste, genuinely bad fic that I read. But I agree people shouldn't use "fic I didnt like" and "badfic" interchangeably.
