He came over because he stole Bianca's date's phone and slashed his car's tires, so Bianca would think that he stood her up, so that she would phone Cameron and ask him to come over. He came over because he mnaipulated the situation so she would ask him to come over. You really picked a horrible example here.

Cameron was a creep in that episode, who was showing immense disrespect for Bianca as a person and her ability to make her own choices. You overhear something and think her date has bad intentions? You TELL her, you don't secretly manipulate her while committing theft and property damage. If I was Bianca, I'd never talk to him again.

THIS. I was so happy when she told him off.

Me too. This kind of behaviour is way too often portrayed as 'romantic' on TV and in movies. X_x
So I was very happy when Bianca told him off. She has dealt really well with the issue, all in all... though I still sort of dread the continuation. ^^

Yeah, I don't watch the show on a regular basis, but from what I've seen, I REALLY don't want the two of them to hook up. I mean, come on, Cameron is so stereotypically "dogged nice guy" that it's almost like they're parodying it. And I just want him to realize that his behavior isn't healthy or romantic and move on.

Never was this comic more appropriate.

I like him on his own, and I like her, but she turns him into an archetypal nasty, underhanded "nice guy." She treats him just fine given that she didn't know he loved her and has no interest in him (and told him so; she didn't lead him on). It's not a healthy relationship, and he needs to back the fuck off.

There's a show? Man, in my day, we watched a MOVIE. With Heath Ledger serenading Julia Stiles and Julia Stiles flashing the detention teacher.

Yeah... yeah. I love the movie.

I think if you can forget that the show is somewhat modeled after the movie, you can enjoy it as silly and a good time waster. I was ~outraged when I saw the first episode buuuut I came to the conclusion that the show is lulzy and not anywhere near the awesome of the movie.

But it won't have Heath Ledger singing and dancing on the bleachers. :(

But it has Gregory Peck's grandson being hot? :D

Plus I think it has these really fab one-liners and I dig the pop culture references.

I can't even watch that show.
It makes me want to cry remembering Heath. D:
