Wait, who is this? My first thought was Sandor, but I see no burns... Oberyn? Sam's father? He looks too young to be Theon... Please don't say Darkstar, no one loves Darkstar.

Uh...who is that?

I'm trying to figure out who that is. The only character that I can see many people being overly enamored with is Jon Snow, but that doesn't look like Jon. That said, I haven't been involved in the fandom, so I have no idea which characters are popular and which characters aren't popular. So, mainly, I'm just confused.

Hmmm I don't know anon, he has a fanbase but I don't really see anyone putting him on top of their favorite characters or anything. I mean, I like him a lot but I'm not investing any particular expectation in his storyline. He just happens to be a successful case of Ensemble Darkhorse (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/EnsembleDarkhorse), pretty much like Sandor (minus the angst).

Dude, him effectively turning on Tyrion was enough for me. I am viciously protective of my favorite characters. Though I haven't read the books in a while, I'll need to go back to that.

I think he's Tyrion's hired sword guy. I'm pretty sure that's it. It's been awhile since I read the series but I wasn't really impressed with him.

...Bronn has fans?

Yeah, that sort of surprised me too even though I should know better. It's fandom, duh.

MTE. Well, I liked him until he backstabbed Tyr. And that was the end of that. He still has fans after that? Color me surprised.

Bronn has... actual fans? I thought he was just the character everybody went "fuck yeah, Bronn" at, but didn't actually fangirl/boy. :/ I don't think he gets enough scenes to have actual fans.

That's probably the extent of my feelings toward Bronn. He certainly has his moments, and I'm sure he's made me giggle once or twice (I can't really remember enough to pick out any particular scene though), but not enough to go all fangirl over, and certainly not after the backstabbing.

Then again, I've seen more minor characters develop devoted fans from practically nothing (Matt from Death Note comes to mind).
