They don't just scare me, they viscerally disgust me. House Malvora and Skavis I can actually deal better with, because they don't use a parody of human affection to feed. I mean, if a human's trying to scare you or make you miserable against your will, then he's a fuck and you acknowledge he's a fuck. They don't ask you to like it, or like them.

I've noticed a hint of fangirlism and romanticism in fic and in RPs I'm in. Which is a shame, since Butcher went so far to dispell the 'just misunderstood' trope when he had Chauncy try to eat Harry's face.

I wish I would remember/find a reliable way to distinguish "I love this guy and would want to meet him IRL and be his bestest friend/have his babies" and "I love this guy because he is an absolutely kickass character and reading about/watching him is wicked fun". It would seriously cut down on wank, I think.

Hey, I ship Thomas/Justine too. I tend to ship almost everything, though. No ship wars for me. I don't ship Harry/Thomas in a "they should hook up and have gay-incestuous babies" way, but in a "that would be wrong and fucked up and therefore, relevant to my interests." Thomas/Justine is far more healthy.

But mostly I want Thomas to get better from/come back from what happens in Small Favors and live happily ever after with Justine. I think him kissing her even though it burned his lips is the most romantic thing ever (Rogue/Gambit clearly warped me as a child).
