How is it not harmful? Not only can it be psychologically damaging to the participants - or evidence of prior psychological damage, indicating they should seek professional help - but these people don't live in a vacuum. You think it won't hurt mom or dad? Or any other siblings they might have? You think friends and ex- or future lovers won't be freaked? On a national scale, you think that the homophobes won't say, "Oh, sure, gays fuck their siblings"? Please.

The logic can be applied to straight brothers/sisters as well as gay brothers.

As far as the rest of the world is concerned: keep it secret, keep it safe.

Uh, yeah. I'd be equally offended if the secret shipped Sam/Dean/Samanatha/Dan.

Not being with someone you love beause it might hurt YOUR PARENTS?! Oh, come on. It might be a consideration, but that's not a reason not to do it. I mean, a Jewish girl getting with a Christian guy might hurt their parents. Being gay might hurt their parents. Getting with a Republican, or a really poor guy, or a black person or a married person might "hurt their parents." But that doesn't mean that they can't/shouldn't do it.

If two consenting adults want to have sex/fall in love, they ought to be able to weigh the consequences and do it, and there's basically NO REASON same-sex siblings shouldn't be able to hook up. Both the taboos against them are stupid manmade ones. (Homosexuality and incest that is.) Hell, I don't even think opposite-sex siblings should be taboo. I fail to see how letting two unrelated people carrying dangerous genetics fuck/reproduce is all right, but lettings consenting adult siblings/whatever isn't? double standard much?

I mean, abuse is abuse and that's never okay, but that's certainly not always the case.

Oh, please. Way to liken being gay, being in an interracial relationship or being with someone of a different religion with INCEST. Incest? Between adults, between siblings, with consent? Still wrong.

And you have yet to give any reasoning whatsoever why it's so wrong. What reasoning you did give was argued, and you didn't even acknowledge the argument itself. Incest can be psychologically damaging, but it isn't necessarily so; other relationships also have the potential to be psychologically damaging. The fact that "oh my god it might freak out their friends and family!" is a non-issue; on that level, comparing it to other relationships that should be perfectly acceptable despite it potentially freaking people out is perfectly accurate.

And yeah, any homophobe arguing "WELL GAYS FUCK THEIR SIBLINGS" because of an incestuous gay couple would be even more fucking stupid than most other homophobes, seeing as how there are many cases of heterosexual incest.

If you don't have any arguments better than, basically, "consensual sex of this type is totally wrong because I say it is!" continuing to argue is only making you look ignorant.
