No, I totally saw where you were coming from. I even encouraged it! I just didn't see it that way. It was much more of a "you are having a hard time seeing where I am coming from" sort of thing.

And really, how are we not totally correct? This post has two wanky Dean/Castiel fans, mentions wanky Castiel/Dean fans, and that is a very, very nice break from the general cries of wankiness about Wincest/tinhatters/etc. Hell, I SHIP Castiel and Dean and Anna in various permutations, but that doesn't mean I'm not happy to have their wank finally getting aired, so no one can be smug about being better than other parts of the fandom.

Your argument was that Mishafen think they know him personally, which is just straight-up ridiculous. No one thinks that. People tried to tell you otherwise, and you refused to believe it. You gave a reading of the episode without anything to back it up from the episode itself, whereas other people could about their argument. If there was a valid point you were trying to make - sorry, but it wasn't presented well enough.

As for the wanky secrets - all I can say is that I don't see this sort of crap in the comms, unless there's a Dean/Cas comm I'm not a part of.

I'm really sorry, but my reading of the episode is just as valid. We're not talking about real life, here-- we're talking about a show, with a set, and specific shots. We were deliberately shown things in relation to Castiel-- and if those things didn't creep me out, even after the orgy comment, after he admitted he was doing it for the lulz, essentially? That's totally my right. Because I do not need to find everything creepy someone else does.

That's nice? I know I've never seen wank on any SPN comm I'm a member of, but I know for a fact that there's a combination of the comms I watch not being that wanky, and if you don't look for it, it doesn't jump out at you.

But really, I'm pretty convinced you could just give it time. There's obviously wankers ~waiting in the wind~, as it were.
