I'm always a little baffled by your comments. (Actually, I'm mostly baffled by your presence in this community. You don't appear to be in any fandoms, or at least you're not in any fandom-related comms, and you don't even watch this one. So what the hell are you even here for? You just dash in each day to...what, tear people down for taking a different approach to fandom to you? You're barely even in fandom!) They're rarely even about the issue presented in the secret. In fact, they're usually just bitching about some tiny side issue that nobody else is even talking about, that nobody else even cares about.

I'm active in several fandoms (I am in fandoms for Star Trek, Mad Men, Fringe, X-files, Pushing Daisies, and a few others that don't really get secrets posted, and I sometimes post to secret threads for things like Glee that I like and watch but don't follow comms for or write fic). I just choose not to post fanfic under an alias; you can't presume anything from what coms a given ID is or isn't in. I'm also not sure why this particular comment is so deeply offensive to you, given how the secret is a wall-of-text bitching about how much a show sucks with nothing else to it (the OP hates the show--clearly very vehemently--and thinks the fandom is crazy? If s/he hates the show, why is the fandom even relevant? Why's it even a secret?)

I never post anon comments here, so unlike a lot of people any snark that gets out of hand or any replies I make too quickly are under my name. If I've offended you personally, I'm sorry. However, it's unfair to suggest I never agree with secrets, or address the content. I *do* post fic under an alias, rather. And yes, I sometimes post here under that alias, I'm just usually not logged in under it.

I'm not sure I agree with you on clarice; I haven't been following their posts so I don't know if that's their temperament.

But yeah, that is totally my pet peeve! I can't listen to Poufwa Exchange and Made of Fail for that very reason; they only understand or appreciate their corners of fandom, while claiming to be very knowledgeable and understanding of fandom. It's one thing to reject the crazies (pseudocides, flame wars, being fictional characters are real) but to regard fen as nutty because they right fic au (or any other non-next gen fic) or rail against crappy authors (I hate source material bashing, but sometimes a work IS subpar, and it inspires vehemence, especially in insular communities)...gah, I'm glad it's easy to just ignore them.
