I think a lot of the time it's really hard to get into fandoms anyway, regardless of how in love you are with the source material. It feels like you need to get in early, when it first comes out, or else you're "late to the party," and people move on just when you've fallen in love with their stuff. D:

Delacroix? Yesssss. It was originally a reference to a character named Victor Delacroix from Chaos Legion, but now I've been finding tons of reasons that it's cool.

Exactly - sometimes when people start talking about when they got into the fandom, they give you the evil eye if you state that you're new to the fandom. 'Cause, y'know, it's not like they were never new fans at one point or anything.

Yesss~. I don't remember how I came across the name, but I remember that after struggling to figure out a great last name for my character, "Delacroix" just fit for a multitude of reasons.

Yeah, and all the little fangroups have already formed and it's all awkwarddddddd. Urk.

Heeee, do love Eisbrecher. Actually, do love lots of Industrial and EBM music. :D

Because the name Delacroix is a name for AWESOME.
