I loved the Sandman comics back in the day, so I get where you're coming from. It's so disappointing that Gaiman turned out to be so awful.

Weekend Plans

What is everyone doing this weekend?

I got all the soil moved from our old garden bed to new. So hopefully I can get to the store and buy new soil to fill it up. I'm hoping to get a big chunk of the mushroom creature I am playing done. My sister, BIL, and I are also going to try playing REPO for the first time!

Well, originally I was all excited because a theater here is showing the original Star Wars trilogy this weekend. But I honestly don't have the energy to go, especially given how busy next week is (5 hearings and 2 filing deadlines).

So right now getting hair done tomorrow, we're taking the woman who cleans our house out for a birthday lunch on Sunday, and other than that just resting. I've been watching some Colbert and Meyers clips on Youtube.

Anything with dragons will make me happy. Even lousy movies.

I genuinely enjoy Pompeii. Volcanoes and a very sexy hero. Plus a super hammy villain. I love.

John Carter isn't a brilliant movie, though it should have made more than it did, but it is fun.

Jupiter Ascending is good if not perfect.

Rings of Power isn't amazing, but it is fun. And Middle Earth. And season 2 has been really fun. Celebrimbor and Annatar and all there scenes together make me happy.

I'd argue The Mummy (and the second one too) is genuinely good.

This fandom was a big part of my college years. I'm so glad I got tired of it and drifted off to new fandoms before all this shit happened.
