But if there are artists that sad millennial moms seem specifically drawn to, then it's fair to call the music of those artists sad millennial mom music. It doesn't matter how old the artists are or what era they're making their music in.

neither era or nor age of the artists is what i was talking about. i was talking about who the music is for. who is actually going to concerts. it's not just (or even mostly) sad millenial moms going to billie concerts or buying her records and normally people do not talk about genre with regard to minority audience categories. beatlemania is about teenage girls even though teenage boys were also listening to them as well, if not in the same numbers.
