Re: Sleep routines

My job is helping parents sleep train babies and young children, and studying up on all of that and seeing first hand what works and what doesn't has really changed my own sleep habits. I know adults and babies aren't the same, obviously, but I have definitely started using some of the advice I give families for my own practices at home. No screen time before bed (sorry OP of #1, you do you though!) and my phone is not right by my bed (to avoid temptation to scroll or "just check one last time"). I make sure I had a good dinner and then stop eating and drinking a couple hours before bed. I try and get to lights out at around the same time every night. Just small basic things, but it has really had a big impact on my own sleep. I've always had trouble sleeping so any little bit to help is big for me.
