Carry on! I'm a Patricia Wentworth fan. She wrote a lot of her crime novels during WW2. She mentiones realities of those times and how the war affected British. I almost finished Lonesome Road, and would recommend it to Agatha Christy fans.

UK wasn't invaded. Look up Vietnam. They were hungry, they were cold, they lived underground in hellish conditions but they fought americans. Same for USSR and China during WW2. They fought despite the hunger. I'm saying that people who went to war are heroes. Support from ho,e is important but I found OP blaming someone for going to war instead of staying behind wild.
