So glad you got a new one you love! What kind did you get? I use to sell sewing machines. 😊

I got an Elna! I was trying to stick to brands from local dealers in case I need to take it in for service but I just couldn’t find a model that worked for me. I do all my own maintenance on my machines including on the Brother PR 1055X so figured it wouldn’t be too difficult to do it for this one, too.
It’s gorgeous. It doesn’t physically look as flashy and sleek as the Juki DX 4000 I initially got but it works like a dream (the Juki barely worked at all). It has 11” of throat space and comes with software to design your own stitches. I haven’t figured out how to program it to remember my last stitch settings but I’ll spend a day going over the manual with a fine toothed comb after another week of playing around with it. Also, the fact that it came with a manual was a huge plus because the Juki didn’t. I NEED a physical manual. Oh! And the Elna has a second foot pedal that’s for cutting and lifting the presser foot! I have never had anything like that before but already it’s my favorite feature and I won’t be able to live without from now on LOL
