I still have to watch this movie, but man I hope I do, too... I'm in need of a good new Bucky ship. The fact that this is a secret is troubling though. I still have to check the fandom, but I hope that there are fanarts/fanfics when I do. *praying*

1. I'm not a fan of most of them either, but I just try to ignore them and block people who are zealous about them being the only truth.

2. Wouldn't a fandom as big as Sonic have more "factions" with people who don't care about headcanon stuff? Surely not everyone is obsessed with politics and self-inserting onto characters.

3. At the same time, I can't even get mad about headcanoning a robot as trans. They technically don't have assigned genders/sexes so I think an agender-to-male headcanon (like Mettaton in Undertale) could be interesting in some contexts. *shrug*

I can find them funny when they're deliberately playing into the gross/weird/childish angle and not playing characters that the movie tries to insist are lovable heroes when they're not and would be unbearable irl.
