I’m a couple years younger than you and hard agree. This is just one of those topics where FS thinks that entertainment being enjoyable isn’t enough to qualify it as entertainment.

Not really? I'm literally the anon that started this thread and it is about books vs movies having similar overall quality in comparison to each other, like the secret talked about.

Whether they are entertainment at all or not is something only you brought up.

Sorry, I guess I worded it poorly. The books weren’t well written and I don’t mean to imply that they were. I was specifically replying to the line in your comment about waiting in line to buy the books. I’ve no doubt that they’re the best books some have read because I know people who say that all the time, so it isn’t surprising to me that OP thinks the books were so good.
