That's not something I'd bother to guilt about if you are, OP. 200k epics don't spring up overnight, meaning the writers have had the time while creating to see how the fandom has changed. And if they know that people aren't into this fad any more and choose to post anyway, they know what they're getting into and probably aren't expecting the whole fandom to suddenly change for them.

If I choose to scream into the void, I'm not bothered by no reply, you know? And if not getting one upsets me, that's on me.

Wow, 200k+ words and zero comments seems like a huge imbalance to me. I can't think of any fandom I'm familiar with where there was a drop in popularity for a trope THAT stark.

I'm with you there. Like... it just does NOT interest me in the slightest and I had one fandom where I had to filter to avoid it because it was just so prevalent. My current fandom I only really see a lot of it with one character and if I filter for just the ship I want, I don't see multishipping fics that are like A/B/OC or A/B/yn.

But like, just because it's not my cup of tea doesn't mean I don't want the people writing it to have fun and get to interact with other fans who do like it!

I genuinely do not understand the popularity of transfem/trans girl Metal sonic and transfem Shadow in the Sonic fandom. I honestly see absolutely nothing female or even feminine in Metal Sonic or Shadow.

the only disagree here is that the trio was bad in any way. they did damn good considering the absolutely ass direction they received, and the scripts themselves also being ass.

I came into HP late and had already been burned by the LOTR movies, so I had low expectations, but holyhell did these movies just keep getting worse as time went on. no director could salvage them, no not even del Toro. If anything, Azkaban is worse for standing out as Not Like The Others. but ugh the last 20-25 years have not been kind to adapting source material at all.
