- putting a water bottle on my cellphone flashlight at night when I need some light but don't want to hold it. It diffuses the light and is pretty handy.

- writing over text to make it unreadable before crossing it out

- putting a little bit of baking soda in the water when boiling eggs so the shells come off easily

- using glass jars to store drinks/leftovers instead of plastic tupperware. They are clear and don't stain as easily and it's basically still recycling

- bone conductor headphones + ear plugs = bliss on trains/planes/busses

- Fanfic + text-to-speech app = jerryrigged podfic

- dish soap + paint + a smooth plastic surface (like packing tape) = easy scratch-off coating
