Honestly, you are right. The last couple of weeks have been rough, but I've never wished anyone dead before and this isn't healthy. Really glad for the three day weekend to recharge.

It is still about politics. You are really showing your ignorance here. Any time LGBTQ+ folk are attacked, even by a shitty author who's outlived her relevance, it becomes political. You don't want such things to be political? Speak out against these shitty people who attack the marginalized and vote for the leaders who will protect the marginalized.

You don't like politics? Don't wander into political threads. If you can't tell the difference between what is or isn't political, I suggest learning the difference. Which may be difficult for someone who doesn't want to hear about politics in the first place, but in the end, you're bringing that on yourself.
