Normally I'd be guessing... Well you know what I'd be guessing.

But in this case since it's related to a football club I'm not jumping to any conclusions, and going to punt for "football hooligan" as my best guess today.

I mean, there's also ALWAYS the possibility of it being a simple accident, not ruling it out, not ruling ANYTHING out. It's just - and call me a cynic if you must - I am more inclined towards evil psychopath than shoddy breaks.

Having seen footage (without audio), it looks like the driver is having an altercation with some men in the crowd - one of them reaches for his door handle, he drives on a bit and his door opens, he slows to close it and another guy starts chasing him. Then the driver accelerates into the crowd.

Kinda. Dude (who was apparently under drugs) was sat in his car in a crowd of football fans who were assaulting his car (punching the windows etc.) and he either snapped or panicked and accellerated, hitting the crowd and injuring several people.
