There was no strip over the Rape of Nanking. Hidekaz tends to avoid events like that in WWII.

If I remember correctly, the wank around that was over the fact someone had requested Rape of Nanking fic in the kink meme, and people were rightly Not Okay with that.

I just asked another friend of mine who is into the series-- and she says she doesn't recall one either.

Is this the one where Japan enters China's house and later takes out a sword? I thought it was a bit creepy. It never said anything about the Rape of Nanking, though. My memory's fuzzy though, so don't trust me on it.

That could be anything, though. Japan and China don't have a very good history with one another.

If I may butt in, nope, there is no Rape of Nanking strip. The only thing I personally remember about a strip with Japan and China was the one where it looked as though Japan sliced China's back with a sword. But it wasn't related to the Rape of Nanking at all. The author never touched that subject.

If it was, then it was stated that the strip was vaguely referencing the first Sino-Japanese war. Rape of Nanking had nothing to do with it, like I said.

And hell, even if that hypothetically was a strip about the Rape of Nanking, like I said, it would be better than the kitty Al Quaeda shit.

I don't even know where to begin with that strip. I'm just gonna shut up leave that one alone. ._.

Well, considering the fact that most Japanese like to pretend like Nanking never happened, of course it never gets a mention in Hetalia. There's no cute way to spin that one.
