I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, OP, and say you probably picked the wrong word here and meant this to be a positive secret. But if you meant bittersweet, this comes across as condescending at best. Fandoms are for everyone, we're all just trying to enjoy the things we love, regardless of who or where we are in life.
