I'm like that about cdramas. Not exactly "emotionally invested", per se, but... they do pull me in more than other media? I enjoy and look forward to each episode, and then when it's finished (assuming it was a good one) I feel a sense of anticlimax and slight ennui until I manage to find another cdrama worth watching.
