It's started to happen big time in the States ever since Cartoon Network picked it up... Everyone I work with and my sisters all love it. You know, "Old Gregg" went viral back when it came out and it was kind of an underground phenomenon here until this year. They had a huge panel at Comic-Con and sold out shows in New York and LA... in the Midwest it's not quite as huge.

i'm american and i watch it! i'll squee with you. =] i know how you feel, though. i don't have many friends at my university; sometimes i wear band shirts so someone will go 'OH! FRANK TURNER! YAY!' and have a great conversation about music with me. no one ever does.

I would squee with you. A little. My boyfriend is obsessed with the show. He would probably launch himself at you in some kind of terrifying tackle-glomp. Hes gonna be The Hitcher for Halloween.
Maybe you aren't wearing the shirt to the right places? Go to the comic shop!

I wear t-shirts like that always hoping for someone to notice, and it is the one time I'm not really shy I always comment about things I recognize on the subway or whatever 'cause I know how sometimes sad it can be when someone never notices.

I felt just like this when my gf and I wore our Future Sailor costumes to an anime con...and not one comment of recognition for who we were. Sad times. I hope I get more recognition this year as The Hitcher.

Keep wearing it. :D It took me a couple times, but on a wandering excursion through the mall with my roommate, an adorkable boy with curly black hair and blue eyes actually stalked us to squee over my Boosh shirt.
