I realize that, but this fandom was truly intimate and there was so much bonding going on in the beginning. It was literally perfect for a couple months, the whole fandom was reflecting his values and principles... then all the sudden it turned into this.

I hate to say this, but I agree. I actually miss the old days (late June/early July), when we were all shellshocked and grieving and SUPPORTED each other. Michael would be so disappointed in us--and I fully include myself in that number.

That's very sad to hear, for me. The recent tragedy should have the effect of bringing fans together warmly and closely. I always thought MJ fandom would be one of the kindest, coolest and most inspirational. This doesn't make any sense. It's a shame.
