The sex scenes are very much '2000's slash fanfic' vibes which is something I find amusing for the nostalgia hit but man they are not good, lmao. But yeah people act like you're some kind of puritan conservative if you say you think the sex-scenes are bad, like I enjoy smut in my books, but I want well-written smut, not whatever the fuck is going on in MDZS xD

Yeah, that makes me giggle, too. I mean, sure, sex scenes lean towards exaggeration. But do people not grasp that having nonstop, jackhammer sex for an hour with no orgasm is NOT nice? You're not going to want to continue after that, you're going to need a long break to rehydrate and maybe some first aid for the bleeding.
