You mean beside the elitist, sexist, racist, and/or xenophobic nature of some of her work? She had affairs (her husband had one too), and when her husband found out about a serious one and threatened to initiate divorce proceedings, they agreed instead for her to file against him since she was worried that her adultery would ruin her image, apparently. She promised that if he admitted to his infidelity, she would allow him to see their daughters; but after the divorce, he was denied contact with them, and she made sure he was later unable to find work in publishing (this is according to the woman he had an affair with and later married, so take that as you will). One of Blyton's daughters described her as "arrogant, insecure, pretentious, very skilled at putting difficult or unpleasant things out of her mind, and without a trace of maternal instinct", though her other daughter described her as "a fair and loving mother, and a fascinating companion".
