Spoilers: most people who write trans fic aren't gonna be cis because, frankly, most cis people aren't gonna disguise their pussyboy or dickgirl fetish--anyone who's been alive and on the net long enough knows this. Just admit you accidentally wandered right into a right-wing talking point.

I don't think I will? Cis people who are fine with having that fetish aren't gonna disguise it, of course. But I'd bet a lot of cis people who feel guilty about it or are trying to be politically correct need a way to legitimize their kink, and this covers it well.

Dang, it's truly impossible to talk to people who think they know everything for sure while reading things into the secret that simply aren't there in the text. Somehow from a secret about trans headcanons where "all the[ authors] focus on is... body parts", you somehow got the idea that the OP is transphobic instead of against the idea of seeing trans stuff (gender) and boypussy/girldick stuff (physical genitalia) as the same thing?

IMO, no one should order you to stop saying something you genuinely mean because "it sounds like something those icky conservatives say." A political ideology that is so insecure about being able to retain people that having the same values is not enough, you must also avoid any words that might be misinterpreted as coming from the opposition ... has gotten far, far too brittle and restrictive.

It's honestly kind of wrapping back around to being transphobic again that you seem to think trans people can't enjoy girl!dick and boy!pussy kink. It's a fantasy, it's a common kink, and trans people have it too, just as unrealistic and over the top as cis people's fantasies.

No, sometimes they are embarrassed to use the proper tags, a problem that anyone in fandom can have, or they blend it together with a more realistic emotional story while also enjoying the kink part. Also... a lot of people do straight up have a kink for trans itself. Nothing really wrong with all of that. Just can be annoying for people who want to avoid it due to dysphoria or not sharing the kink.

Trans ppl have a lot of infighting over whether it's bad to enjoy gender-related kinks so a lot of people do give in to the pressure and avoid tagging their work with it for that reason too.
