Yeah. I've never hung my happiness on whether some entertainer included "someone who looks like me" in their story, and when they have, I often didn't like the results. So I can relate entirely, OP.

Yeah, I don't want to see someone who looks like me on the screen - I just don't think the weight I have been for most of my life is attractive. What I *would* like is not to be treated badly because of my appearance. Yes, I'm overweight and I'm trying to fix it. But it's a long and hard process which is only made harder when people/media make you feel like shit for being this way. I don't want fat positivity, I just want less negativity.
