Long-term, yes. I am increasingly convinced that we were better off without it (even as I sit here using it).

Short-term, it would really suck, because my job depends on it (most of our programs are internet-based, and I work from home half the week, which is only possible due to the internet). My company does its best to take care of its employees, but I'm genuinely not sure what it would do with us all in that case. I'm sure I'd have to find another job, and likely start from the bottom.

On the other hand, I imagine there'd be enough people like me for it to be a "crisis" that the government would have no choice but to deal with (yes, even the current one).
