Oh man, I personally was never into Pokemon, but the store I worked at in 2016 was a Pokemon Go gym, and it was so cute having kids (and some adults, lol) come in all excited to talk to me and show me their Pokemon.

I never played it myself, but I still remember it as a really fun time. So many people were congregating in public spaces and interacting with each other in a way that they hadn't in years.

I was envious. I would have loved to get into an ARG with a community like that, but Pokémon has never done it for me.

Don't play but a close friend is a huge fan. I've attended a couple of the Go events with him.

There used to be so many people out and about. If they had their phone out it was usually because they were playing Pokémon Go.

These days, I think you find less people out in the wild playing.
But NGL, I feel like it's still rather popular. I have coworkers who casually mention they play (often they say don't play as much as they used to), and whenever I'm out with my friend, people stop him and ask him about his various Pokémon accessories or clothing.

This show lives rent free in my head in general. I was obsessed with trying to do the finger time stopping thing as a kid. The idea of being able to stop time just appealed to my id so much. Still does.

I'm sad about characters that genuinely die. And I'm sad about Donna's original fate, that sucked. But generally, I don't feel sad for companions who just don't get to be with the Doctor anymore but still live long and full lives. Amy and Rose got to live great lives.

The big two for me are people swerving between lanes and people who refuse to use turn signals. Both are sadly very common here in Texas.

I had to threaten to go to federal court today to get ICE to release my client who is no longer in immigration court. Judge ended his case, but they didn't want to release him. Another client was given bond by a judge over a week ago and is only going to get out tomorrow.
