I fell hard for this pair and was so sad it was obviously only going to be a temp relationship. I just spent the past couple days devouring fic for them.

I can see the fan theory that Eddie is just shoved so far in the back of the closet that he genuinely doesn't understand his love for Buck, but also I think he's an asshole and Buck can do better. I dare not say that to the fangirls XD

Yeah, same. I've never been a diehard shipper in terms of fandom. A lot of couples I think awww, that's cute! And that's it. Not interested in fanart or shippy fics with their epic romance and porntastic sex lives. Just awww, nice and that's all the feeling I have for it.

Oh gosh, same. I do it when I'm spiraling or when it is like one week until my period. Sometimes I'll find myself reading really dark fic and think "I wonder why I'm craving this, I'm in a pretty good place mentally" and then my period comes like three days later and all becomes clear.

I think it can be one of those things that can be helpful or harmful depending. Sometimes I'm just in a dark place myself and I want a safe way to really explore and feel those emotions, and fic helps me do that.

Oh, do you have fic recs, OP? I read one fic that started great but then went weird in a way unrelated to the father/son incest (which is kind of impressive, in a way).

I can see the appeal for the sheriff and Stiles, there are some interesting angles there. But I was never brave enough to really dive into it.
