I'm mostly just curious why this is a secret? I don't watch Bake Off so maybe there is drama there, but from this pic she seems like a very stereotypical person to find attractive.

Maybe it is like RPF type guilt? I have seen some people get weird about being attracted to "real" people on tv etc but fine when it is a character. Doesn't make sense to me but *shrug*

It's been a while since season 18, but I recall the internet accused Paul Hollywood of favouring her because she was attractive (I have no opinion on whether or not this was true; I'd blame the editors in any case), so maybe that's why it's a secret.

I haven't watched the bakeoff in years because I can't stand Paul Hollywood, but this is definitely a thing he does. Then the internet gets really harsh and awful about the woman in question, even though they never do anything to encourage him.

No, that's a totally different woman named Ruby, from an earlier season:

Or at least, there was a mini scandal about that, I don't know if there was another rumor about the Ruby in the secret.

Ohhh I forgot about the Ruby drama. That discourse was toxic.
