Where do you RP?

because yeah bad RPers exist and suck everywhere. But you can't really judge the suck until you've RPed somewhere with people who don't suck. Flist? Full suck. DWRP? Much better chance of writing against someone who does not suck. Tumblr? They don't even rp they just make pretty journals. MMOs? Def depends on the server.

What makes you think OP hasn't done all those things, met good RPers, but decided most are bad? If someone says most fanfic is bad, do you assume they haven't broadly read fanfic and require a resume of all the fanfiction they've read, or else they "can't judge"? lol

I assume because "RP" is as broad as fanfic. If someone rolled up to me and said all fanfic sucked, yeah, I'd ask what they'd read or what their fandoms of choice were, because you, me, and everyone on FS knows that not all fanfic sucks.

But right now I'm judging you way more than OP because you gotta come in here all guns blazing about how I'm somehow "requiring a resume" holy shit it's not directed at you and it's not that serious.

I think the anon above was going for a joke, not serious business guns blazing. There's a point in there though, if I said most of the fic I run across in my fandom is bad - is anyone questioning that statisically, most fic is bad? - and someone decided to kindly inform me where to find different kinds and genres of fic and that I can't judge until I read them? Awkwardly reminding them that I said most, not all, is the response I'd make.

All is bad = blanket statement that is clearly questionable and untrue. Most is bad = a number is good, a number is bad, implying they have experience.

Better said than I lol. I figured demanding a resume was over the top enough that it'd be clearly a hyperbolic type of joke but not taking things literally is another thing FS doesn't do...
