Yeah, it *looks* dyed, too.

As a hair haver who likes doing stuff to my hair, I can tell you that Cruise should go with lowlights if he doesn't want an all-gray look. They basically just darken some of the strands -- the opposite of highlights. Or he could do some light highlights to blend the silver.

But gray looks good on Clooney. Gray hair actually makes your face look normal/appropriate as you age, and that's true for both sexes, if you like the shade of gray you get.

I personally grow white WHITE hair at my crown so I color it a little darker, because it's so light it looks transparent and you can see my scalp, and I hate that. (I'm 47, btw).

I remember seeing some clip where someone was asking Clooney (who'd had to dye his hair back all dark) for something and whether he preferred it and he just laughed and was like, "No, it looked so weird."

That's what gets me. Cruise is filthy rich. Couldn't he afford a decent dye job? This looks like he did it himself at home.
